Don't believe that paradise exists? Well, head north on a plane 2 and half hours, jump on a boat (champagne in hand) and you'll find it on Hayman Island. I was lucky enough to visit this stunning resort earlier this year and CANNOT wait to go back. Food We ate at the Teppanyaki, Amici Italian and Modern Austrlian. The food was fantastic. We were disappointed we didn't get to try Bamboo, the Asian restaurant, as the menu looked amazing! We opted to do the Teppanyaki instead which was a really intimate experience but we in hindsight I'd just suggest going to Bamboo for equally delicious food without the big price tag! Amici- we ate the carpaccio, Caprese salad and shared the grilled chicken with Panzanella salad. Yum! And don't miss the Tiramisu Fire- AMAZING STEAKS. A must have. Plus make sure you order the Bodyism green smoothie off the room service menu. Its so good with cashews, avocado, spinach, ginger and apple. Yum yum yum. Oh and the mini burgers and cauliflower, eggplant and tahini salad at Aquazure were fantastic too. Active Yes, with all the eating, we definitely wanted to keep moving. At One&Only they have one a Bodyism gym. Run by Australian fitness guru and personal trainer James Duigan this chain of gyms is yet to hit Australian shores (apart from Hayman) so we were thrilled to get to train with one of their qualified Bodyism trainers, James Burke. It was tough but so much fun and we even got complementary green smoothies at the end. The gym also has fantastic classes such as yoga, TRX, meditation, pilates and barre classes. Other things to do There are so many things to do like bush walks, snorkelling, helicopter rides, private picnics and sunset dinners. Or you could just lie by the aqua blue pools and relax. Perfect!!
